Water Park, Faliraki - opened in 2000. It has 26 water features which cater for all members of the family. Close to Afandou - about 7km. Free bus from Rhodes Town or by taxi from Afandou square.
Divas Bar, Afandou - a very lively bar attached to a nightclub. Friendly and entertaining staff! Website is......interesting...........
FLIGHT AGENTS
Not all are mentioned here. These are the agents we've had experience of using.
Farebase.net - look up your flight online, then phone the recommended agent. The prices and availability by phone have always matched the web details. Very large database.
Holidays by phone - another web search followed by phone booking. Some real bargains to be had here and very efficient service.
Dialaflight - excellent over the phone and have now been able to find charter flights on their site!They have always equalled or bettered any price we've seen and the service is excellent.
Easyjet - very simple to book over the Internet but can also be booked by phone. Beware - prices rise dramatically near departure dates so book as far in advance as possible.
Maersk Airlines - have recently started flying from Birmingham to Athens, three times a week during the day. They are working through British Airways and tickets can be booked through the BA website.
Expedia - we've used these for out of season and found the booking very efficient.
Aegean Airlines - we've booked the Athens-Rhodes flight directly over the Internet and had our tickets waiting for us in Athens. Efficient and helpful. Fantastic planes!
Olympic Airways - the website will give you the timetables but ring their office for booking. They've had a lot of bad press but we've only ever had good experiences with them.
